Fly Fishing Technique : How to choose a float

In this article we will discuss the types of floats, parts and types of fishing for the use. We tend to always seek the float has higher sensitivity and stability, thus get to see the ground more easily.

Also we look floats in which predominate in the upper body fluorescent yellow and orange colors so they are highly visible in the case of long-distance fishing.

The type of fishing cork is a fishing technique in which takes a lot of concentration and it is also very satisfactory, with it we can catch a wide range of species, fisheries and everything will depend on the species we want to fish.

The floats will divide into three parts:

The top is called the pen protruding above the water and is a fish that will detect this taking our bait.

The body that provides buoyancy, can be of many materials and shapes, balsa wood, plastic and hollow inside, foam, etc.

The bottom of the keel call and take care to give stability to the float.

After the float always go a lead and swivel. Lead weight always be in relation to the buoyancy of cork, for this test the lead always get more stability to the cork. Anyway when buying the float or cork we have already indicated in cork few grams of lead need.

Other differences that we will find the way to hold the line; in the case of English will be fishing floats are secured with a rubber band on the side of the keel. This type of float is used in freshwater fishing and fishing with little power since usually long, thin and with little lead weight floats. You can hold from two or more points ie several bands distributed between the pen and the keel (some models have a small ring to pass the thread) to these they are called fishing bolognese and are floats larger than the above.

Finally there are the floats that the thread passes through them, you can find them in all shapes and sizes. This kind of floats can hold them in two ways and these depend on the depth that we are fishing:

Fixed float, where the wire passes through the float through a fine plastic tube and braked after the float with the pen, which will nail inside the plastic tube. In this way the float will rise to the bait that we need to change the height or cove at will simply by releasing pen and turning it to stick. This technique is used when the depth is less than the length of the rod.

Float run where the thread will continue passing through the float but this technique thread curb what we will do in a knot the thread portion of the pen, then inserting a small perlite to the knot but also passes through the tube plastic. In my case I use to run cork stop it one log of lead bug that makes me the same effect and is easier to assemble. Cork run technique is often used when fishing depth is greater than the length of the rod and the float is always up to the gamete when out of the water and reach the hook.

I hope happy for Fishing technique
