Fishing Technique : Crustaceans As Bait

An interesting for fishing bait are crustaceans, there are many varieties such as crabs, shrimp, hermit, galleries etc. any of them can report us good times fishing.

Crustaceans are characterized by a hard shell that protects them, their legs are articulated and have both front pincer which they use to defend themselves and eat.

They feed on worms, larvae and fish. Females can lay up to 250 eggs under the abdomen that lead until they hatch as they grow and shed the shell increasing its size.

Then I detail a list of the most common crustaceans to fish:

Prawns:

Here is a good example of a crustacean to fish, shrimp is a favorite baits esparidos, bream, glazed, snapper, Pagel and all kinds of trash.

Depends on the size of the shrimp put it whole or troceemos and depends on the type of shrimp (eg tiger) it is interesting remove the skin to facilitate that key hook more easily.

It is a good bait fishing for both the cork from the cliffs, with the sea a little choppy and arrimándote to them as from a boat on rocky bottoms also seeking union between rock and sand.

The crustacean langontino is easy to find in supermarkets are usually always offers a kilo frozen boxes that work very well and when you finish all your spare back to the freeze.

Hermit Crab:

This is another good crustaceans to fish, you can grow to 10 cm. and unlike his brothers his abdomen is soft so often take refuge in shells of dead sea snails for protection.

It feeds on small mollusks, larvae, and also to find any dead animal.

To get them you must approach in a fish market and ask if they have taken and want to find vendertelos or bait shops, not all the shops you will find.

Usually a big fish bait species such as bream and threaded around the bait but removing the front calipers.

At the end of fishing with your spare hermits have two choices, frozen lose some effectiveness but are still good or in a tank with the oxygenator also can keep alive.

Crab calavereta:

The crab "calavereta" is one of the star the golden bait, it is gray and white spots.

They are called "calavereta" because some of them have a white patch on the upper shell that looks like a skull, although it is difficult to distinguish colors when they are above the sand, if they feel threatened are buried in it.
They feed on larvae, worms we put on our hooks and looking for the golden dead fish.

To anzuelar this crab must take the hind legs as the secret is to put it live and this avoid so as to bury you take advantage of the gap left by removing the legs and then pass the hook, another way is to hit the bait by her bottom and spin with Lycra yarn about letting him loose leg shell for this in motion.

For now I leave these three crustacean later discuss other many that exist

A greeting. I hope happy for Fishing technique
